SWQA Engineer

As part of the Ceranext team, the SW QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software releases and enhancing the customer experience. This role involves continuous collaboration with various stakeholders in a project to ensure excellence in execution, development, and delivery. The SW QA Engineer is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring thorough testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute tests to validate software functionality.
• Prepare test environments and data required for test execution.
• Contribute to efforts aimed at increasing test coverage.
• Identify, report, and track software bugs.
• Provide frequent updates on QA testing status.
• Perform regression testing on Release Candidates.
• Work closely with the development team to analyse and resolve defects.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a QA engineer is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Basic Linux usage and networking skills.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python).
• Experience with the Playwright framework is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
